The Network of Health Services CA Bikes, is a State Entity, recognized as an Executing Unit, with the number 407 since April 05, 2010. It is constituted in a Decentralized Organ of the Direction of Health CA Bikes, with normative and administrative dependence; organized in 09 CA Bikes according to the geographical accessibility, to the natural flow of the social corridors and roads, attending to a population of 489,931 inhabitants for the year 2015.
The main mission is to provide comprehensive health care with promotional actions, preventive and recovery of health in the assigned population, ensuring quality of service, universal access, opportunity, equity at all levels of care, the referral and counter-referral system, articulating public and private institutions that provide health care, with the participation of the individual, family, local authorities and community.
The jurisdiction of the CA Bikes is characterized by an Andean and jungle geography, a variety of ecological floors and consequently a climatic diversity.
